On another note.....I really want to see what Konrad and Guntram look like. ^_^ But then....I also don't want to ruin my fantasy of them. They are too beautiful and perfect in my imagination that it's hard to measure real people up to them. I hope someone understand my ramblings.
I keep on coming back to watch this trailer again and again. Those pictures are almost exactly what I have imagined when I read the book. You even got the right Sprügli on the Bahnhofstrasse!

Well, err, *blushing* ...Dear all, thank you very much for liking this "book trailer". *bow* It was a pleasure to make it, and an even bigger pleasure to receive so kind reviews. Truthfully speaking, *lowers voice to a whisper* it makes me feel less bad about being obsessed enough with Tionne's work to try my hand at making a 'movie'.

Cathy: You're incredibly kind, thank you very much for your words! It was a nightmare to get some of those pictures, but also incredibly fun to play Sherlock Holmes searching for them over the web. Learn lots of things while doing so, that's for sure.
Thuly: Thank you a lot, I'm very glad you liked it! I totally understand what you mean. I can maybe picture the eyes, or the hair, or a nose, separately, but can never get the whole picture of how our favourite boys look like. They are more an impression of beauty than anything else.
Anonymous: I'm glad to know that you liked the video, and it didn't dissapoint you. TS is such a complex novel, that my biggest fear was not to interpret it correctly. Thank you!
Cathy and Thuly: It was difficult to make the fanvid without showing any faces, but who could do justice to such handsome, dashing (sadly fictional) men? I guess our imagination will have to suffice... *le sigh*
I love this vid. It makes my heart flutters alot (in a very good way). So beautiful and dramatic. I have a pic of a cute guy/curly hair/big eyes/pouty lips on my desktop(that I think is how Guntram looks like).*grins*

Very nicely done. I think the trailer captured the feel of the novel. The Substitute is truly a masterpiece.
