TS 3 Chapter 6

Chapter 6

August 12th, 2015
Cavalli Islands. New Zealand

“There's something I want to show you,” Constantin shook Guntram awake.
Still groggy, Guntram opened his eyes and watched the barely containing his laughter man. “We might have busted the trading ghost.”
“What?”
“Come with me,” Constantin pulled Guntram from the bed and the young man followed him, crossing the corridor to the library Constantin used as his office. “Just watch,” he pointed at the iMac large screen. “We have it in HD, too.”
Guntram rubbed his eyes and heard a chuckle before Constantin pressed the play of a video of his children's corridor. Right under the Abstract blue painting, he saw Kurt's door open slightly, wait for a few seconds before his head emerged and peered both sides. On tip toes, the boy crossed the corridor and entered in his brother's room and quickly left it, carrying in his arms Kostya's beloved plush frog.
“I'm killing him,” Guntram mumbled as he watched his son carefully closing his brother's door. “On top, he’s suppressing evidence.”
“It's not over,” chuckled Constantin as he fast forwarded the film some twenty minutes.
Guntram never expected to see his youngest child's sleepy face to come out of his room and walk like a duck to his brother's room, disappear inside it and emerge carrying, half-dragging the very expensive Nao robot Kurt loved above everything. Just as his brother had done, he closed the door behind him but left his own one open in his haste to return to bed.

“Little...” Guntram was speechless. “Tomorrow, I'll...”
“Tomorrow you'll do nothing.” Constantin chuckled. “Now we know that the mix-ups weren't the maids fault. Let them be. They haven't complained, so don't start you.”
“Little mobsters. Blaming each other and then the girls.” Guntram said outraged as Constantin laughed.
“A few years more and I can turn over the business to them. I never saw anything like that in my own boys,” he could barely contain his fun.
“Great, we have the next Godfather sitting at home. Double dose too,” Guntram mumbled and sat on Constantin's desk.
“I could offer some advice too,” Constantin smiled and rose from his chair closing the distance with Guntram.
“You? You weren't the bad ass everyone thought.”
“Compared to you, I was a bully in the kindergarten.”
“It wasn't that bad,” Guntram mumbled and Constantin smirked. “All right! I had to make some harsh decisions. It wasn't my choice, really. And I certainly didn't start it.”
“No, you just ended the brawl epically. A pity I didn't meet you in the nineties.”
“It just happened.”
“That's what admire the most of you... as Godfather,” Constantin said. “You give orders I would have trouble to sleep with and yet you stand in front of me with a clear conscience.”
“War is war. I'm not proud of it. I hate myself for it but I saw no other way out. You weren't an angel too. Remember Buenos Aires?”
“That had nothing to do with you. It was a problem Dima and his clan had with that Swede. I wouldn't have wasted so many resources in a kidnapping.”
“How about Lars?”
“Yes, I gave the order.” Constantin held Guntram's regard without showing any kind of regrets. “You were getting out of line.”
“Don't you think I don't know it? Don't you think I have to live with that?”
“Well, think better next time you play with us. These are our rules.”
“I know,” Guntram said softly. “I've known it since ten years.”
Constantin put his arms around Guntram's neck and lightly embraced him, only to offer comfort but still keeping his distance from the young man. Suddenly Guntram clung himself from Constantin's neck and held him with all his strength against him. Their foreheads met and lips locked themselves, without knowing what they were doing.
The first kisses were shy and restrained as none of them knew how they other was going to react. Their kisses became bolder as they could feel that none of them harboured any more resentments against the other. Constantin's tongue entered into Guntram's mouth and a known warmth began to crept inside their souls.
So lost in their unbound pleasure that both men didn't realize that Guntram was lying on top of the desk and Constantin's body placed itself nearly on top of him. The sound of papers falling to the floor was never heard because both men were fighting to unfasten their  buttons. Constantin's hands took Guntram by the hips, sliding him more on the desk so he could better climb over him. Guntram tried to readjust his position but in his haste he pushed the abandoned glass over the edge of the desk.
“Why can't we live without each other?” Guntram asked when he broke the kiss, startled by the sound of the fallen glass. His hands didn't left Constantin's nape and he pushed him back to his chest.
“Who knows?” Constantin shrugged. “I don't ask life for so many reasons.”
“I know that.” Guntram kissed Constantin again.
“Do you know that I love you?”
“I know that too.”
“So what?”
Guntram moved away from Constantin and a shadow of guilt crossed his face as he made up his mind. “So we accept that life is less than picture perfect.” His hand cupped Constantin's face and he kissed him again, letting the Russian kiss him back with more passion than before.
“We have two boys together,” Guntram gasped for air when they broke the kiss. “We can't fight each other now.”
“I don't want to fight with you.” Constantin whispered earnestly in Guntram's ear. “I only want that we are happy together. You are the only person I ever loved truly.”
“I love you but I'm still in love with someone else. I can't throw him out.”
“Is it Lintorff?”
“No, that's over. It's Altair.”
“It's fine by me. Just don't mix us.”
Guntram frowned and looked into Constantin's eyes, looking for any deceptions or hidden secrets but his regard was limpid. “Really?” he asked.
“Don't over do it.” Constantin sighed. “You already look like a schoolboy when you speak to this man.”
“I do feel like one,” Guntram exhaled a long breath out. “I don't get it really. I'm over thirty now.”
“If you don't do the teenager things at twenty, then you do them at forty and that can turn out messy. Be glad you started earlier.”
“I find hard to believe that you're so sporty about him. I know you, Constantin.”
“I'm not sporty about it. I'm realistic. If I lock you up or kill that man, it will be useless because you will hate me. Let the best man win.” Constantin's lips locked themselves against Guntram's as he gently pushed the young man against the desk and climbed over him.

“You were always very good at this, Constantin,” Guntram laid his head over the naked chest, feeling tiredly happy. The bed sheets laid on a heap at the bottom of the large bed.
Constantin watched the early morning sun rays play over Guntram's skin and smiled. His Guntram was all fire once he was unleashed from all the rules he loved to torture himself with.
“You always make the cat routine and honestly I don't get tired of it.” Constantin answered as he pulled the cover over Guntram's naked back, glad that in the aftermath of their frenzy night together there were no reproaches or tears like in the past.
“The cat routine?” Guntram chuckled. “I'm quite conservative in  bed.”
“A true Mary Sue.” Constantin grinned and Guntram playfully hit him on the head. “Do you remember Sasha? He was always looking everything down and resting on the best spot, like a lion. But when he was interested in something he would be quicker than anyone else in the room to get it.”
“I'm not a cat,” Guntram protested faking to be offended while his legs moved to feel better Constantin's manhood.
“No, of course not. You're just rubbing my legs like cats do when they're hungry.”
“Are you up to feed the cat?” Guntram challenged Constantin.
“I can try,” Constantin pushed Guntram down as he rolled over him and kissed him deeply, enjoying how Guntram was letting him do everything he wanted while at the same time he posed little, playful challenges to him.
'Just like in the good times,' he thought as he suppressed a moan of pleasure after Guntram locked his soft tights around his hips and brushed them to his sides. Feeling Guntram trashing under his thrusts was the closest thing Constantin could imagine as heaven. The way he sucked his fingers each time he buried himself inside the young man, simply drove him mad and made him feel powerful and full of energy. He only feared the climax and end of  his pleasure.
Constantin let himself go with one single moan as he emptied himself Guntram. All his bones dissolved into that moment as he slowly came back to his senses. The sweaty and short of breath body under him was his anchor to reality.
'Let the Arab send all the Valentines he wants. I'm here and he's not. It's just a matter of time till he's out of the game.'

'Fuck. This heat is insane.' Alexei huffed as he rang the bell of the Arab language private teacher. 'Now I remember why I never asked for the Middle East.'
'They should build tunnels instead of streets in this country.' Alexei let the mighty waterspout of coldness created by the central air conditioning unit in the lobby give him a welcomed chill.
The elevator took him to the 20th floor. He enjoyed the momentum of the ultra fast lift like a child. 'We should get one like this at home too.'
He walked through the carpeted corridor and stifled a yawn. 'Too old for partying for so long but the sheik's petit ami was quite entertaining.'
'How creepy is fucking with someone who looks so much like Guntram? Jean Jacques should never find it out or I'm dead.' He pushed the doorbell again and waited for the old man to open the door.
After a brief exchange in Arabic, Alexei sat at the table and began to show his grammar exercises to the teacher. 'It's quite obvious that Guntram isn't here because the sheik visits his friend now and then.'
'This Brad is losing his patience with the Altair dude. Quite tasteless to fuck somebody and remind him of the other. Hustlers have standards too.'
'Reminds me I have to send something nice to Ratko's wife. She'll calm him down and keep him out of my way. That Vuitton thing Brad had looked quite nice. Maybe I can bill it to the Duke.'
'No, not in this life. He's quite furious with Guntram at the moment. All this shit is his fault for not telling the truth. Was it so hard to say: “Lacroix had a car accident”? The boy would have cried and done nothing else. He had a lot in his mind at that time. Goran disapproves me being involved but I won't let it go like everybody else do.'
'I only have to follow this bratty Altair to get to Guntram. Should be easy.'

  1. Thank you for posting a new chapter. It's interesting to watch Guntram adaptation to new environment.

  2. Wow, Tionne! I don't like Guntram like that. Where was the boy with the morbid sense of justice and the crush on Conrad? Now he is a typical de Lisle - a reincarnation of Roger!

  3. Did Conrad need such a Guntram? Konrad himself, of course, had connections on the side, but it was just sex and no love confessions!Guntram was always on the first place.

  4. When did guntram know about his little son Kostya? How? Or I didn't understand...

    2. This chapter reads like a pre-beta (or editor rough draft) future chapter. You mark my words, this was an accidental post of the wrong chapter.

  7. Guntram is such an interesting character! If there's one constant in these books, it's his desire to love and be loved. It's helped him adapt to his new circumstances with surprising ease. But it's still weird how there's been no mention so far of his other children. I'm sure he must miss them. Is he in denial ? If not, he's certainly more similar to Constantin than I thought.

  8. I believe this intriguing Guntram have a super tricky plan and that we see in this chapter it's a first act of it.
